Notice: 2027 Hotel/Motel Occupancy Tax (HOT) Funding Applications
1. Applications for 2027 Hotel/Motel Occupancy Tax funding are now being accepted and must be submitted to Beth Hedges at the Franklin County Judge's Office. Forms are available at the Judge’s Office, or can be downloaded from the Franklin County website:

2. If you or your organization plan to request 2027 funding, please submit five (5) copies of the completed application to Beth Hedges at the Franklin County Judge’s Office by noon on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.
3. The Commissioner’s Court will hold a hearing for all applicants to present their requests at 9:00 AM on Monday, May 11, 2026. Final funding decisions will be made during the Commissioner’s Court meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
Franklin County is currently not under a burn ban. County officials will continue to monitor conditions and may reinstate the burn ban if conditions warrant.
