RECORDING INFORMATION:
Please send a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of your recorded documents unless they will be picked up.  We require a 1.5 inch top margin on the first page for our recording label.

Accepted Forms of Payment:

Cash, *Checks, **Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Cashier Check, and Money Order

*No out-of-state personal checks accepted.  All checks must have the driver's license and phone number of signer otherwise your documents may be returned unrecorded. If you have questions about us accepting your check, please contact us at 903-537-8357. Return check fee $30. Returned checks will not be re-deposited.

All card payments will incur a convenience fee.

Standard fee for new plat (never been platted) - $100.00 plus recording fee of $31.00 / $51.00

Large Copies of Plats filed in our office

Copy Fees

$1.00 per page (if copy is 2 sided, $1.00 for front and $1.00 for back)

Certified Copies - $1.00 per page plus $5.00 per document for certification


Criminal, Civil, and Probate Search Fee

$5.00 per name per record type.


Posting Fee

$2.00 per notice

Death Certificate - $21.00 ($4.00 for each additional copy purchased at the same time)

Marriage License - $81.00 (without TWOGETHERINTEXAS certificate)

Probate, Administration, Muniment of Title, Guardianship - $395.00 (includes one citation by posting only)

Inventory filed after 90 days: $27.00
Application for Determination of Heirship filed in existing case:  $75.00

Application for Sale of Real Property in existing case: $60.00

Occupational Driver's License- $350.00  (includes 1 certified copy for the petitioner and 1 certified copy to be sent to DPS.  Additional copies and/or certified copies are $1.00 per page plus $5.00 for certification, per document.)

Small Claims Appeals- $350.00 (Must be paid before appeal will be filed)

Civil Debt with Service - $458.00 (1 citation included with in-county service) 

Issuance of Additional Citations or Writs - $8.00 each

Sheriff's Service Fee - $100.00 each
